Download a Project or Proposal PDF

Before you start: Downloading a PDF requires access to the Contract Information tab. If you can’t see that tab, your role doesn’t include financial access. See Roles and access.

AECPulse can generate a PDF document of a project or proposal — useful for sharing with clients or keeping for your records.

  1. Open the project or proposal you want to export.
  2. Click Download PDF at the top of the page. It sits in the row of buttons above the tabs — not inside the Contract Info. tab, even though that’s where the contract details themselves live.
  3. The PDF is generated and downloaded to your device.

The PDF contains the key information from the proposal or project:

  • Project or proposal name and details
  • Client information
  • Phases and milestones
  • Fee structure and rates
  • Scope of work
  • Additional terms and contract information

Your firm is named throughout the agreement using your company name and your professional role (for example Architect or Engineer). Set your role under Firm Settings → Design Professional Role; until you do, it defaults to “Service Provider”. See Configure firm settings.

If the PDF doesn’t download or opens blank, see PDF and export problems.
