Creating Your Firm Account
Before you start: Only do this step once per firm. If your firm already has an AECPulse account, ask your administrator to invite you instead of creating a new account.
What you’ll need
Section titled “What you’ll need”- Your firm’s name and business address
- The web address (subdomain) you want for your firm — for example,
yourfirminyourfirm.aecpulse.com - An email address for the first admin user
How to sign up
Section titled “How to sign up”- Go to the AECPulse welcome page at welcome.aecpulse.com (register.aecpulse.com and signup.aecpulse.com take you to the same place).
- Enter a subdomain for your firm. This becomes your firm’s permanent web address (e.g.
yourfirm.aecpulse.com). It has to be unique across AECPulse, and it can only contain letters, numbers and hyphens. A few addresses are reserved and can’t be used — names AECPulse uses itself (such aswelcome, wwworapi) and offensive words. Choose carefully — it cannot be changed later. - Enter your firm name. This is display text and can be written however you like, punctuation included — it does not have to be unique, so another firm having the same name won’t stop you.
- Enter your firm address.
- Fill in the details for the first admin user: name and email address.
- Review the information and submit. By creating the account you agree to our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
After submitting, the first admin user receives an activation email. Follow the instructions in Signing in to activate the account.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”Once the first admin logs in, they can:
- Invite other team members
- Set up roles and permissions
- Configure firm-wide settings
The first admin account automatically has the built-in Admin role, which grants full access to everything in AECPulse.
