Convert a Proposal to a Project

Before you start: The proposal must be in Approved status. If it’s still Pending Approval, see Submit a proposal to a client.

Steps

1. Open the approved proposal.
2. Click the Create Project Draft button.
3. Confirm the action when prompted.

AECPulse creates a new project in Draft Project status. The project inherits:

• The proposal’s name and project type
• The client link
• The phases, milestones, and deliverables
• The fee and contract information

After converting

The new project starts as a Draft Project. Before the team can begin work, you need to activate it. See Activate and complete a project.
